The third edition of Women’s Premiere League, 2025 has concluded with Mumbai Indians becoming the ultimate champions for second time by defeating Delhi Capitals. The final match was played in Mumbai at the Brabourne Stadium on March 15, 2025.

The Mumbai Indians led by Harmanpreet Kaur registered a total of 149 for 7 in their 20 overs while batting first. The Delhi Capitals were given a target of 150 runs which they failed to achieve by a bare margin of 8 runs. An outstanding performance by Harmanpreet Kaur and her team made them win their second title and establish their dominance in the tournament’s history. The Delhi Capitals led by Meg Lanning ended their campaign as runner – ups for third time in a row even after performing dominantly throughout the tournament.

Harmanpreet Kaur led by example and clinched the Player of the Match award in the final for her impactful match winning knock of 66 runs in 44 balls. Other key players who contributed for the win are Nat Sciver – Brunt and Amelia Karr. Brunt played an important knock of 30 runs in 28 balls and conceded 30 runs in her spell of 4 overs along with taking 3 crucial wickets. Amelia Karr, on the other hand, conceded just 25 runs and took 2 wickets in her 4 over spell.

The key players for Delhi Capitals were Marizanne Kapp, Jemimah Rodrigues and Jess Jonassen who played brilliantly but could not win the game for their team.
